Sunday's Message - "What's that Buzzing Sound?"

This Sunday's sermon is a biblical look at "murmuring." What is "murmuring?" It is the destructive nagging, griping, and complaining that so often destroys the fellowship of a church. Sometimes, the complaining can grow into a huge, overwhelming "buzz" ... a great noise in church life. We don't have a murmuring problem at Crossroads. So, let's study the problem, just to make sure that we never do!

It's Two Boys!

Jeremiah and Stacie Kline became the proud parents of twin boys yesterday morning. They were delivered safely be c-section. Mom and babies are doing fine. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Fishers of Men Retreat
I'm thinking about putting together a men's retreat at the beach in 2007. I have some friends at First Baptist Church at St. George Island. They have a beach retreat there. We can rent their "cabins" for a very reasonable rate, have a Bible study retreat, and do lots of fishing! We can, of course, fish the surf. There are also some men in the church who can take us out and do some bay fishing for a very reasonable price.

I think we could do a five day, four night retreat for somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 per person. If you're interested, send me an e-mail.
