"Adopt a Family" Update
As many of you know, Crossroads Fellowship committed to "adopt" a family from the Barkley Manor fire disaster. Most of our church folk have already met Amanda and her children as they were our guests at Crossroads this past Sunday.
Well, we have good news! Amanda has secured an apartment! We have assisted her with the various deposits and fees that had to be submitted so that she can move into this home of her own. We should know within a few hours exactly when she will be able to move in.
Our next step is to help her furnish and get established in her new home. I asked Amanda to make out a list of things that she will need. We already have many helpful items in the Line Street Ministry Center. However, there are several things that we need to get. We ask that any donated furniture be as "like new" as possible. Or, let me put it this way ... don't donate anything that you would not be proud to have sitting in your own home. I think that is the best way to put it.
Here are the "larger" furnishing items that we still need.

- **Crock Pot
- **Toaster
- Laundry Detergent
- Kitchen Cleaning Supplies
- Household Cleaning Supplies
- Paper Towels / Toilet Paper
- Clothes Hangers
- Wal-Mart Gift Cards

- Non-Perishable Food Items
