Weekend Update - August 18-20
Just a couple of quick notes:
- Firewood is available on the Crossroads land. Several trees had to be taken down to prepare the pad for the pavilion. Crossroads members are welcome to take whatever they need for firewood. The remnants of the trees will be burned in a couple of weeks.
- We currently need a volunteer for our "Highway 68 Sign Project." We are seeking to have a sign placed on Highway 68. Information, guidelines, and documents have been secured from the Commonwealth. We need a dedicated volunteer who will pursue this project through to completion. Please speak to Tony Dothsuk or Ralph Stevens.
- Check the calendar for updates! In particular, pay close attention to the month of October ... it's shaping up to be ver busy, and very exciting!
- Bottled water will be collected over the next several weeks in preparation for the Ham Festival. Donations of bottled water will increase the proceeds toward the Mary Hodge Missions Fund. You may bring cases of bottled water to the church. They will be collected and stored until October.
